Sqaure-Enix have annouced that Final Fantasy IV is coming to the Nintendo DS.

The announcement came last weekend at Square-Enix’s 2007 Party. Much like the recently released Final Fantasy III, IV will see new style graphics, new cut-scenes, better monsters and more ‘Human Like’ characters.

Not much else is known about the game other than it will follow the same premise as the original. If you’re a Final Fantasy fan then you’ll want to keep your eye (or even your ear) on this website.

With this being the second Final Fantasy game to hit the DS, will we see the franchise branching out on the system? Could we even get as far as the ever popular Final Fantasy VII on DS?
