For game which is designed specifically for Nintendo, which hopes to take advantage of the unique attributes held by both the Wii and the DS, EA Playground (working title) seems to have fallen a little short in the connectivity stakes. With most gamers used to online multiplayer modes with top games utilising it to its full potential, one wonders why EA have decided not to develop a Wi-Fi feature for this release. Some connectivity will be present however in the most traditional DS Ad hoc mode.
However with all this said the game still looks a lot of fun and even though aimed at the much younger player, games full of mini games tend to draw a big crowd. Hopefully available sometime this year, I look forward to monitoring its progress.
