Japan was the first country to get a brush of Wii online with Pokemon Battle Revolution, and Europe is next in line with Mario Strikers Charged. While it seems we know Striker’s online inside and out, there is still one small detail left yet to be announced.
UK’s Official Nintendo Magazine held an brief interview with Mike Inglehart, a member of Mario Strikers developing team, discussing online WiFi for Charged. When asked about the limit of playability with people over WiFi, Inglehart said:
“Wifi in Mario Strikers Charged is region specific so we can ensure a quality gameplay experience. The game is very twitch based and reactive, so it’s important for us to keep lag to a minimum.”
Inglehart ensures us good-quality online with a small sacrifice. There is also not long to wait for the game, as according to the Q2 Release Schedule issued by Nintendo, Mario Strikers: Charged is expected to be released on 25th May 2007.
Stay tuned for more news on this great title.
