Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles has always been a mystery for some time. The only detail present was that it’ll take course over the fall of the Umbrella company. And that still stands. The latest issue of Famitsu magazine takes the first look at what we may expect from this new RE sequel which Capcom calls a gun shooting game, rather than a survival shooter adventure.

The entire game is on rails, where you take the role of Chris Red Field and Jill Valentine through a fully 3D mansion. UC is also in first-person, and you are allowed to move the camera freely.

While Chris and Jill stand as the main characters, we wonder if the rest of the cast will be playable through a multiplayer function, or a Mercenaries styled mini game. Other characters will join these two such as Albert Wesker, Rebecca Chambers, and Billy Coen. The entire game will take place between Resident Evil 0 and RE4.
