Rumors were flying around the net of a untitled wrestling game coming to the Wii. Well, THQ has confirmed that it’ll bring the Smackdown vs Raw series onto all current platforms, including the Wii. IGN did the liberty of posting this news, and it was also said THQ will deliever SVR on the PS2, PS2, Xbox 360, Wii, DS, and PSP.

New game features will include wight “Superstar Fighting Styles” and a new “Struggle Submission System” which will give players the capability of using the analog control for pressure holds and such. Other features include a new roster, enviormental hotspots, overhauled animations, and the combination of Season and General Manager mode.
The question is how THQ will utilize the motion-sensing for the Playstation 3 and Nintendo Wii versions. And this may indeed be a new turn for the series.
