Third-Party Online Games Unavaliable Untill 2008?

In a recent interview with Spong, SNK Playmore boss Ben Herman said Nintendo is still not letting third-party publishers include online capabilities in their games, and it most likely won’t happen till 2008.

No real reason was distributed to concur this generalization. Most people feel that Nintendo needs to stabalize the online platform before allowing it to be freely used by third-party titles.

This may cause a significant concern for those amped for online, especially since the GCN didn’t include it. Luckily our plates will be full with potential online games such as Super Smash Brawl and Battalion Wars II.

Stay tune for more information on this subject.
