The Wii and DS Recieves More EA Family Love

Some of us pondered where will EA bring the Sims franchise after the somewhat lacklusting sequels in the past year. Well…don’t fret with tears, because Electronic Arts has announced MySims exclusively for the Wii and DS which is bound to come out this fall. Abd this title looks promising.

Everyone is aware of the wacky simulating gameplay that the franchise has delivered, and EA has promised much more with MySims. Taking notice into Sim City, you’ll be playing out side the house. The players will utilize the Wiimote and DS Stylus to (re)contruct a town into their own creation using a myriad of selections including building blocks, unique patterns and engaging creative tools. Instead of making a choice of what furniture you want, you can create any to your desire. EA has definitely redefined the way we think of the Sims.

In your little Sim town, you’ll meet citizens of different characteristics and personalities. And you will have the choice to help these people in the construction of their homes, shops and practically the entire comminuty…it’s up to you. The help you offer will benifit the later of the story mode, and that will be your blue prints to city development.

“We want MySims to provide a creative play experience like never before on a video game system,” said Executive Producer Tim LeTourneau. “By giving players the tools to create literally any kind of world they want in MySims, we’re reinforcing the idea that the players create the magic. Will the town support a plethora of spooky, mysterious townsfolk – or buzz with the laughter and smiles of fun-loving Sims? It’s your call! In MySims, what players make… makes all the difference!”
