Yesterday, according to Perrin Kaplan, the Gamecube was dead as no more hardware or software was being made by Nintendo. Today EuroGamer.net reported that they have confirmation from a Nintendo UK that the Gamecube is still alive globally. Here is what he said:

“I can confirm that globally, Nintendo is still continuing production of GameCube hardware and GameCube software,” a spokesperson for Nintendo UK told us.

So who is right? Perrin Kaplan or Nintendo UK? Whoever is right, we all know one thing; the Gamecube will die sooner than later, and when it does it will never be forgotten.
