In a recent interview with Mercury News, Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime, states that developers are getting online Wii development kits, meaning that they are now able to create titles which have online capabilities.
This means that we should start seeing titles which feature online support for the Wii quite soon. Lets just hope that the big N has sorted out the friend code/Wii number situtation that many people are not happy with.
In the same interview, Reggie talks about Pokemon Battle Revolution (which should probably be called Pokemon Battle Wii!), sales figures and how Nintendo are currently increasing their sports and first-person shooters calalogue with various support from publishers such as EA.
