While the DS and Wii seem to hit the market with an outstanding performace, we do have to thank the many employees in Nintendo. Especially the people who supply the key components to the sucess, and are reaping benifits now.
Mitsumi Electric Co. Ltd ( Reuters reports as “the maker” of Nintendo’s Wii Remote) has raised it’s annual net profit forecast by 59% to US $84.54 million dollars. Which will be due to some key components of the Wii and DS. Plus, the company’s share has raised up 15%.
For the year of 2006, Mitsumi shares gained 96%, although NEC Electronics Corp., who also supplies components to Nintendo, saw its shares drop 10%. Seems like Nintendo isn’t the only one giddy
