Mario Kart 64 Virtual Console Bug

It appears there is a bug with the Virtual Console version of Mario Kart 64, which rocks!

If you select the Moo Moo Farm track with 3 players, the game runs an extreme speeds, leading to a very hillarious race. On a serious note, I wonder what Nintendo will do about the problem? Could this be the first proper use we’ll see of the WiiConnect24 background downloading service it boasts? Who knows!
