It’s a disappointment that Grand Theft Auto Wii is nothing more than a rumor. Though many avid fans hyped about this ever since Reggie’s conference with Take-Two. Don’t pout yet because Vivendi Games is releasing a cult classic movie-into-game for our little Wii. Developers have more sand-box love for Nintendo nowadays.

According to the cover of this months N-Gamer magazine, Scarface: The World is Yours is confirmed as a title for the system, which will take advantage of the Wii remote during gameplay such as firing weapons and melee combat. This game was originally released on the PS2 and Xbox, while a spin-off was created specifically for the PSP. This game has no release date, but Vivendi ensures to distribute that information at a later time.

So far we have The Godfather: Blackhand Edition and Scarface: The World is Yours. It seems the Wii is has enough potential for the real deal: Grand Theft Auto IV
