Nintendo gains a new independent developer as Twelve Interactive announced that they are official licenced developers for the Wii. They have two games in development that are headed to the console: Crash Dummy vs Evil D-Troit and Starblaze: Ultimate Battle.
“The Nintendo Wii is a perfect console to work on for small independent developers like us. It gives us the opportunity to work on triple A games, with very reduced budget,†commented Giuseppe Crugliano, managing director and founder of Twelve Interactive.
Crash Dummy vs D-Troit is an action title in which you use a small time hero to save your girlfriend and other crash dummies from the evil D-Troit.The game utilizes the Wii remote and the Havok Physic systems to give gamers an enjoyable way to interact with the enviorments and enemies. Crash will be released on the Nintendo Wii, PSP, DS, and PS2 this year.
Twelve Interactive’s second game, Starblaze: Ultimate Battle, will be released on all next-generation platforms. This game features a deep story, epic robot battles, realistic graphics, and frantic shooting segments. Possibly anything that can be expected in this retro styled shooter will be there. However, this game doesn’t have a release date.
Expect Twelve Interactive to be a top-notch supporter of the Nintendo Wii.
