This isn’t Grand Theft Auto sandbox game people expected, but Black Hand Edition is the next best thing. In a recent interview with Joel Wade, a senior producer in Electronic Arts, he’s revealed some hot info on the Godfather transition to the Wii. The game was originally released on the Playstation 2, Xbox, 360, and the PSP. So…what has changed exactly?
Wade has enlisted some new features that come along with Black Hand Addition. The name comes from the *Fight Night* styled combat in which you use to slug out mobsters and civilians alike. Electronic Arts has gone it’s way to completely remake the controls to map across the Nunchuck and Wii remote. When you play the game, it will feel as if you are really conjuring up a real brawl. Players will have an exhilarating time motioning left hooks, right jabs, and upper cuts. The EA team has also made way into implanting exclusive moves to the Wii version, to make the combat as realistic as it can be.
Aside from the new controls, Black Hand Addition includes five new hit missions, remade compounds, new roles, and the ability to find/extort crooked cops. The Playstation 3 version will include this package as well, except for the Wii remote combat. Wade also notes that Black Hand Addition will improve lighting effects and truely make use of the Wii’s hardware.
Godfather for the Playstation 3 and Nintendo Wii will be released in the United States and the UK. But the date is still pending.
