Following the events of the first Donkey Kong, Mario has captured the big ape and locked him in a cage. Donkey Kong Jr. wants him out, but Mario isn’t letting DK get away that easily. So now you must jump, climb and time it just right through four levels.
Any real problem I’d have with this game, is that it’s a little short, and just repeats the four levels over and over. However, it’s pretty fun still, because no matter how many times you go through this game, it still gets pretty challenging. Graphically, it really is the sequel to Donkey Kong, featuring more and brighter colours. I rank sound the same, but that doesn’t mean it is bad.
