Nintendo is getting sued becuase of their Wii-Mote wrist straps causing one too many television destructions.
Â
Despite offering to replace any and all wriststraps for the Wii-Motes, a nation-wide class action lawsuit has been brought against Nintendo for “deceptive business practices”. It calls for Nintendo to replace or refund existing wriststraps.
Â
However, Nintendo claims the lawsuit as “…without merit”. As they have already begun replacing wriststraps at no cost to the consumer.
Â
I do not believe this will go badly against Nintendo, due to that the only matter that I can conceive that the prosocuters have grounds in persuing so far are damages already incured by by the faulty wriststraps. [I may add though, I'm not well versed in matters of legal issue. -ED] Feel free to voice in your view on the matter by adding some comments.

Crazy Dave
This is preposterous - how many class action lawsuits have been filed against golf-club manufacturers for idiots letting them go on golf-courses?
If people are too stupid to realise that they shouldn’t let go of something they are flinging around, I’m sorry these people should be removed from the gene pool…
