Some clever guys over at RedKawa.com have created a tool to encode your favourite DivX, MPEG and AVI movies (amongst others) into the format the Wii is happy with, MJPEG.
You just encode the movie you want to play on your Wii using the software, Wii Video 9, then copy the new file to a large enough SD card, insert it into your Wii, load up the Photo Channel and watch it to your hearts content.
Wii Video 9 is freely available from the RedKawa website, and I definatly recommend downloading it if you are into film watching and what to get the most out of you’re Wii.
