It seems Mario will be facing some stiff competition on Wii as far as the platforming goes. Here’s a quote from a Ubisoft representative.
“A game based on Ubisoft’s popular Prince of Persia franchise is currently in development for the Wii. At this time we don’t have any additional information on the game or when it will be coming out, but we’ll let you know as soon as we do.â€
Let’s hope it’s reminiscent of the brilliant ‘Sands of Time’ which was released on the Playstation 2 and is in my opinion the best platform game ever. Ubisoft has shown alot Interest in the Wii thus far and Wii appears to be the only next gen console the Prince is scheduled to make an appearance on.
